सत्ता को लेकर एक बार फिर छिड़ेगी जंग, इस बार औरंगजेब बन कहर बरसाएंगे रणवीर सिंह

संजय लीला भंसाली की विवादित फिल्म 'पद्मावत' में अलाउद्दीन खिलजी का किरदार निभाकर फेमस हुए रणवीर सिंह अब तख्त में नजर आने वाले हैं। फिल्म में सभी ने रणवीर सिंह के किरदार को इतना सराहा कि भविष्य में अगर अलाउद्दीन खिलजी की बात होगी तो लोग रणवीर सिंह को ही याद करेंगे। अलाउद्दीन खिलजी जैसे नकारात्मक किरदार को निभाने के लिए रणवीर ने बहुत मेहनत की। अब एक बार फिर रणवीर नकारात्मक किरदार में ही नजर आएंगे।

इस बार रणवीर सिंह औरंगजेब के किरदार में नजर आएंगे। करण जौहर ने अपने ऑफिशियल ट्विटर अकाउंट से धर्मा प्रोडक्शंस के बैनर तले बन रही फिल्म 'तख्त' के बारे में जानकारी दी। इस फिल्म में रणवीर सिंह, करीना कपूर, विकी कौशल, आलिया भट्ट, अनिल कपूर और जाह्नवी कपूर जैसे कई स्टार्स नजर आने वाले हैं।

इस फिल्म का स्क्रीनप्ले सुमित रॉय ने लिखा है, जबकि डायलॉग्स हुसैन हैदरी ने लिखे हैं। खबरों की मानें तो 'तख्त' की कहानी शाहजहां के बेटे औरंगजेब और दाराशिकोह के बीच सत्ता को लेकर है। इतिहास पर गौर फरमाएं तो शाहजहां दाराशिकोह को गद्दी पर बिठाना चाहते थे, लेकिन महत्वाकांक्षी और जालिम औरंगजेब ने साजिश के तहत शाहजहां के खिलाफ बगावत कर दी और खुद सत्ता पर काबिज हो गया।

धर्मा प्रोडक्शंस के बैनर तले बन रही ये फिल्म अब तक की सबसे महंगी फिल्म मानी जा रही है। फिल्म की शूटिंग राजस्थान और गुजरात की अलग अलग लोकेशंस पर होगी। फिल्म साल 2020 में रिलीज की जाएगी। पद्मावत की तरह भी इस फिल्म की कहानी भी दिलचस्प होने वाली है।

Here comes the big news of the day! Karan Johar has finally put an end to all the rumours surrounding his next film. The filmmaker today announced his next film titled Takht and it boasts of a fantastic star cast. The biggie will have Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles. Now doesn’t that sound out of the world? Well, only Karan Johar could have pulled it off. 

he trade buzz has confirmed that Takht is period film set in the Mughal Era. Rumours are rife that the story will revolve around the life of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz‘s three kids. Apparently, Ranveer will play Dara Shukoh and Kareena will be playing the role of Jahanara Begum. They will be seen as siblings in the film. Alia will be seen as Ranveer’s wife. We have also heard that Vicky Kaushal will play the role of Aurangzeb and Janhvi will be his wife. Anil Kapoor will reportedly be Shah Jahan in the film. Not much is clear about Bhumi Pednekar’s part though

A source also informed us that Takht will be India’s biggest film ever. He said, “Karan Johar is going to go all out this one. It’s a humongous project, you can call it India’s biggest film ever. The sets will be created on a massive level and the film is expected to be the most expensive one ever made in India. Karan is keen to bring back grandeur on screen.”  

The announcement of Dharma Productions’ Takht has set the internet on fire. For starters, the movie marks the return of Karan Johar to the director’s chair. Then for the main course, there is the stellar star cast of the film. Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor star in the film. Whoa! As per reports, the movie takes out a page from the Mughal Empire’s regime in India with Kareena playing the role of First Lady of the Mughal Empire, Jahanara Begum. And Ranveer will be playing the brother. But what is not clear is which brother Ranveer will portray on screen. Jahanara Begum had two brothers. One was the infamous cruel emperor, Aurangzeb, playing whom on screen might just be a similar experience as playing Alauddin in Padmaavat for Ranveer. The other brother was Dara Shukoh. We wonder if Ranveer will be seen playing a cruel, ruthless ruler once again. Because, seriously, his portrayal of Khilji is unforgettable. Well, that is one question we are looking forward to being answered.
BTW, Karan’s production house has two more period dramas on their slate apart from Takht. Let us not forget that we soon will get to see Kalank and Rannbhoomi also, of which the former is a multi-starrer. Takht is also a huge deviation for Karan, who has so far only helmed stories based on love, friendship and the all the emotions in between. We are sure even Takht will have a strong emotional quotient in it. Karan Johar narrating a story about power, greed and relationships.
